The Interfaculty Programme in Landscape Architecture was established by the resolution of the University of Agriculture Senate in the academic year 2008/2009 and the recruitment will start in the academic year 2009/2010. The curriculum has been developed jointly by the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Land Surveying and the Faculty of Horticulture. The programme will be realised as two degree studies: on Bachelor level leading to Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree an Master level leading to master of Science (MSc.) degree. The graduates will gain knowledge about the natural, economic, technical and legal conditionings of landscape management. They will find employment in designer studios, monument preservation and nature conservation units, in consulting enterprises and firms dealing with various objects of landscape architecture, but also at developer firms and public administration offices, in national and landscape parks and at vocational schools.
